To the Reader of ELOGOS,

I am grateful for your willingness to let ELOGOS land in your inbox over these many years. I think I have published ELOGOS in various forms and frequencies over 28 years. I continue to use it with care, making sure to keep it from being a private journal leaking out and more of a gift of my heart for someone who needs it.

I am growing in my embrace of suffering and joy existing within us and around us. Any effort to compartmentalize them on my part has proven exhausting and ineffective. So like Pigpen, the character in the Peanuts cartoon Peanuts, I step out daily on the playing field with a swirl of messiness and not a little sorrow and find joy in another day of life. You are among my points of light.
